By Fas NewsSingapore have clinched the 2009 SEA Games football bronze medal with a 3-1 win over Laos.
Goals by Khairul Nizam, Fazli Ayob and Fadhil Noh sealed the win to clinch Singapore's second consecutive bronze at the Games.
Singapore started off the match the stronger of the two teams and they took a well deserved lead after Nizam got his second goal of the tournament with a good goal from 20 meters out.
Fazli smacked in an audacious volley and Fadhil sealed the win with two minutes to go.
